She Team intervenes, prevents molestation bid

Hyderabad, Jan 21, 2015: A Hyderabad She Police team has prevented a possible rape or molestation of a lady techie by showing its presence of mind and arresting a cab driver who filmed the techie during her sleep. A Cyberabad She Police team was on patrol at IIIT junction around 11 AM on Tuesday and found a slow moving taxi. One of the officers of the patrolling She Team doubted the vehicle moment, and on observing ,found that the driver was filming the sleeping woman with his mobile with one hand and driving the vehicle with another hand. The She Team then intercepted the vehicle and alerted woman who was dozing off in the front seat. When his mobile was checked, the team members found a 7-minute video footage of various moments of her sleep and some objectionable images too. She Teams head and Malkajgiri DCP Rama Rajeswari told reporters that if the team members had not intervened , it could have resulted either in a rape or molestation. The driver was arrested and produced in court which sent him on judicial remand.
