27 test positive for H1N1 virus in TS

Hyderabad, Jan 20: At least 27 persons are said to have tested positive for the H1N1 virus in Telangana, according to Gandhi Hospital doctors here today. According to hospital sources, the patients are undergoing treatment at the hospital. Sources also said that at least another 35 cases are under observation at the hospital for suspected influenza. Doctors at the hospital confirmed that they received at least four fresh cases of swine flu today. Till date seven persons are said to have succumbed to the deadly disease in the state this year, hospital sources said.
