AAI bans entry to visitors at Shamshabad airport
Hyderbad, Jan 20: The Airports Authority of India is reported to have banned entry to visitors at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Shamshabad near Hyderabad following threats from terrorist groups. In view of the terror threats, the AAI has tightened security at the Shamshabad airport, sources said. In this connection, AAI has stopped issuing visitor passes since January 1, 2015 at the airport, sources confirmed. Sources said, with intelligence agencies warning of possible terrorist attacks in view of Republic Day, AAI gas tightened security at all the airports in the country.
