TDP MLA Prakash Goud ready to join TRS if funds sanctioned for constituency

Hyderabad, Jan 19, 2015: Rajendranagar TDP MLA Prakash Goud said he would join TRS if the Telangana Government gives funds for the development of his constituency. Speaking to reporters, he said the Telangana Government should release funds to the tune of Rs. 350 Cr for the development of his constituency besides providing Manjira drinking water to all households. "I met TRS leaders three months ago when they had called me and sought these funds. But nothing has happened after that. What is the use of joining TRS if the Government does not release any funds for my constituency?," he remarked when asked about the reports of his joining TRS. Saying that in the past YSR gave importance to the welfare of the people and earned a good name, he observed that KCR also has been giving importance to the welfare schemes besides development. "This is the reason for people liking them," he said.
