This Govt does not know what is development, says Lokesh

On Tuesday, Nara Lokesh, the national general secretary of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), embarked on his 'Yuva Galam' pada yatra and was greeted by enthusiastic villagers in Kaigal of V Kota mandal. He met with the locals and visited the foundation stone of the Kaigal reservoir, which was laid by the TDP government in February 2019. According to Lokesh, the current YSRCP government has neglected the reservoir project and shown no intention of addressing the drinking water needs of the villagers.

Lokesh criticized the ruling dispensation for not having any knowledge of development. He also mentioned the poor condition of roads and the lack of employment opportunities for educated young people. In Kasturi Nagaram, Lokesh listened to the complaints of petty traders who expressed their hope for the return of Chandrababu Naidu as the chief minister. In Kommaramadugu, Lokesh heard the grievances of farmers who are struggling with high costs of inputs and low returns.

Lokesh assured the farmers that he will bring their issues to the attention of the state government and fight for justice. He pledged that once the TDP is back in power, special attention will be given to resolving the problems faced by farmers, including the lack of Minimum Support Price (MSP) for farm products.
