ING Vysya employees protest over merger with Kotak Bank
Bengaluru, Jan 7: ING Vysya Bank employees Wednesday protested here demanding ‘job security’ in the wake of the bank's proposed merger with Kotak Mahindra Bank. Even as the employees were protesting, ING Vysya Bank is said to have called a meeting of the bank's shareholders to seek their approval for the proposed merger. In Mumbai, Kotak Mahindra Bank is said to have called its shareholders’ meeting to vote on the Rs. 15,000-crore merger plan. ING Vysya Bank employees said their concerns over the merger remain unresolved.
