Chandrababu challenges CM Jagan to destroy Anna Canteen in his presence
Kuppam, August 25: Angered by the YSRCP activists destroying newly erected Anna Canteen, TDP supremo N. Chandrababu Naidu challenged Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and Minister Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy to uproot Anna Canteen in his presence.
Addressing the TDP leaders and supporters here on Thursday after staging a protest against damaged caused to Anna Canteen, he slammed police for being spectators when the YSRCP workers are indulging in violence. “Cops have become puppets in the hands of Jagan Reddy,” he criticised and asked police officials, who are providing security to his tour, as to whether will they keep quiet if anyone attacks their houses.
Chandrababu mentioned that the YSRCP government cannot scare TDP functionaries by registering false FIRs against them. “Today will remain as a black day in the history of Kuppam,” he said and added that a day will come where he will lead a people’s protest against highhandedness of police.
