IB asks Hyd police to conduct checks in city
Hyderabad, Jan 2, 2015: The Central Intelligence Bureau has on Friday directed the Hyderabad Police to beef up security at key and sensitive points in the city and conduct thorough checks at busy through fares and commercial centers. Reports said the IB has alerted the Hyderabad Police after receiving specific information about the activities of terror outfits and their supporters in city. Soon after receiving the instructions, several special teams have been formed for the purpose. The development is significant in the wake of the Centre banning some more than 50 pro-terror web sites and their social media accounts across the country.
