TS pays Rs.350 Cr to BHEL for building two power stations
Hyderabad, Jan 1, 2015: Towards the first installment of the cost of the construction of super critical thermal power stations at Manuguru and Kothagudem in Khammam district, Telangana Government has released Rs. 350 Cr to the BHEL. A cheque for the amount was handed over to the BHEL Chairman and Managing director B.Prasada Rao by Chief Minister KCR on Wednesday in this regard. KCR has asked Prasada Rao to complete the Kothagudem project in two years and a year later the Manugur project. KCR has informed the BHEL chairman he will get environmental clearance for two other thermal power stations to be built at Damaracharla in Nalgonda district during his visit to Delhi this week.
