AP govt appoints 34 Dy. Collectors as members of CRDA

Hyderabad, Dec 31: Andhra Pradesh government on Wednesday appointed 34 depty collectors as members of the Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA). All the newly appointed members have been directed to report to Guntur collector to receive further posting orders, as per the government orders issued here. The government plans to allocated various important departments under the CRDA to these newly appointed officials, the orders said. The idea of appointing IAS officials is to minimise mistakes in the construction of the new capital city, according to official sources.
