TDP MLA turns paperboy
Palakollu, August 1: MLA Nimmala Ramanaidu turned as paperboy on Sunday. He went to Mavullammapeta in the early hours of Sunday and took newspapers on a cycle and distributed them to the people at Nagarjupet and other areas in 31 ward.
The MLA said that he choose this step as a counter to the YSRCP MLAs’ programme ‘Gadapa Gadapaku’ to explain how the failures of the government to the public. He also explaining to the public how the government is delaying in completing the remaining 10% works in Tidco houses and in distributing to the beneficiaries.
Ramanaidu said that he will don paperboy getup for four days every month to create awareness among the public about the government’s anti-people policies. He said that he will stage protest for four days by taking sanitation works.
Earlier also, the MLA staged novel protests by catching fish in the pits on roads. He spent the entire night at a shed to protest removal of the shed where free meals was being distributed to the poor in Palakollu.
