BJP alone can defeat KCR-led TRS in Telangana: Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy

Hyderabad, July 26: Congress MLA Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy on Tuesday clarified that he will take a decision whether to join other political party or remain in Congress after holding series of meetings with his followers and people of Munugode Assembly constituency.
 
Talking to reporters, he slammed TV news channels for misinterpreting his statements and broadcasting the same. While expressing his respect towards Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi and MP Rahul Gandhi, the MLA said that the BJP alone can defeat the TRS led by K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) in Telangana.
 
Rajgopal said senior politician and former minister Eatala Rajender contested on the BJP symbol in Huzurabad by-election as he felt that saffron party can withstand money power of the TRS. He slammed Energy Minister G. Jagadish Reddy for criticising him. “I am helping people of Munugode by spending my personal money,” he stated and faulted the TRS government for not sanctioning funds to his constituency.
