AP, TS claim ownership of Sileru project

Hyderabad, Dec 30, 2014: At a meeting of the Godavari River Management Board chaired by its Chairman Agarwal here on Tuesday, both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana claimed ownership of the Sileru project built on the river. Engineers-in-Chief and other senior officials of AP and Telangana attended the meeting and put forward arguments in support of their claims. Unable to resolve the issue, the Board referred the matter to the Central Water Commission for an amicable solution.
