Bullet seized from New York bound student in Hyderabad

Hyderabad, Dec 30, 2014: Customs officials of the Samshabad International airport here on Tuesday found a New York-bound student carrying a bullet with him. The officials , after recovering the bullet from the student Samuel, have handed him over to the city police who have registered a case against him. He is being questioned, a top police officer said, adding that they will allow him to proceed to New York if he is proved innocent with regard to the recovered bullet. Hyderabad police have stepped up vigil and frisking at several key and sensitive areas in the city including airport, rail stations and bus stands in the wake of Bengaluru blast and New Year celebrations.
