Holidays extended for schools, colleges till Saturday in Telangana

Hyderabad, July 13: The Telangana government on Wednesday extended holidays for schools and colleges in the state till Saturday because of heavy rains. In this regard, a memo was released by the School Education Department announcing holidays from Wednesday to Saturday to all educational institutions. In the memo, it was clearly mentioned that holidays for private schools and colleges too. 
 
Holidays were extended by the state government after consulting the India Meteorological Department. Due to incessant rains, holidays were already declared to schools and colleges from Monday to Wednesday (July 13). As there is no respite from rains, holidays were extended. All educational institutions will reopen on July 18 (Monday).
