YSRCP seeks CBI probe into burning of crops
Hyderabad, Dec 29, 2014: Demanding a CBI probe into the burning of crops in the villages of AP capital region, YSR Congress Party on Monday warned the TDP Government that it would not keep quiet if lands are forcibly taken from the farmers for the construction of the capital city. "Government is trying to take away the lands by force by creating terror in the capital region. We hereby warn the Government not to resort to pressure tactics to take away the lands. If the farmers come forward , take the land and leave those who are unwilling to part with their lands," party spokesperson Ambati Rambabu told reporters here. Referring to the burning of crops in the villages of capital region, Ambati has demanded a CBI probe into the fire. Or else, it should be probed by a sitting judge of the high court, he suggested. Supporters of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu only must have resorted to this crime, he said and added : "TDP leaders are blaming YSRCP chief Y.S.Jagan Mohan Reddy at the instance of Naidu. Is this democracy or demonic rule?"
