Theaters screening PK attacked in North India

Bhopal, Dec 29, 2014: Supporters and activists of VHP, Bajrang Dal today attacked several theaters in Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and elsewhere north screening the movie 'PK' in which Amir Khan and Anushka Sharma played the lead roles. The attackers, saying the movie has denigrated the sentiments of Hindus through some of its scenes, hurled stones and destroyed furniture in some theaters. Earlier, VHP, Hindu Mahasabha and several pro-Hindu religious organisations said the movie has provoked the sentiments of Hindus and sought a ban on the movie.
