Expected 70,000 but 1.6 lakh delegates attending YSRCP plenary: MP Vijayasai

Expected 70,000 but 1.6 lakh delegates attending YSRCP plenary: MP Vijayasai

Guntur, July 8: YSRCP national general secretary V. Vijayasai Reddy on Friday said that they have expected 70,000 delegates would attend two-day YSRCP plenary being held for the first time after party coming to power near Mangalagiri. After receiving information from district party offices and coordinators of all Assembly constituencies, number would go up to 1.6 lakh, he stated.

Vijayasai mentioned that there is a huge response to plenary from the YSRCP cadre. He flayed Opposition parties’ criticism of YSRCP functionaries are not keen to attend plenary. “Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy is implementing best and most social welfare schemes compared to previous Chandrababu and Congress governments,” he claimed.

The YSRCP leader said that people are satisfied with Jagan’s rule. To a question, he stated that the YSRCP chief will lay a roadmap for strengthening the party. “Select YSRCP leaders will speak on women empowerment, social justice, education, health, and farming in the plenary,” he added.
