Boss returns as 'Varisu', Thalapathy Vijay's first-look poster out

Hyderabad: Thalapahty Vijay is currently busy shooting for his 66th film. The film is directed by Vamsi Paidipally and stars Rashmika Mandanna in the lead role. Ahead of Vijay's birthday on June 22, the title of Thalapathy 66 has been announced as 'Varisu’.

Boss is coming back as ‘Varisu’, the first look of the film was revealed. In the film, the hero looks like a businessman. Fans are celebrating for giving a birthday treat a day in advance. Hashtags #HBDDearThalapathyVijay,  # Thalapathy66FirstLook are trending on social media.

The film stars Prakash Raj, Sarath Kumar, Yogi Babu, Prabhu, Jayasudha, Srikanth, Sangeetha Krish and others. Taman is composing the music for the film and the movie is set to release in early 2023. Dil Raju and Shirish are the producers.

There are huge expectations for the film as Tamil Super Star Vijay is acting for the first time in a Telugu film and the film is being produced by Dil Raju. After the failure of Vijay’s recent outing ‘Beast’, fans are hoping that this film would become a success.
