Telangana: BJP MLA Eatala meets Amit Shah, likely to get key party post

Delhi, June 20: In a dramatic development, former minister and BJP MLA Eatala Rajender met Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Delhi on Sunday. According to sources, Rajender is unhappy for not utilising his services effectively being an experienced politician in Telangana.
 
Rumours are rife that the BJP will appoint Eatala in a key position ahead of its two-day national executive meeting to be held in Hyderabad on July 2 and 3. His followers are saying that the BJP might make his leader as chairman of state election campaign committee or Telangana’s BJP working president.
 
Amit Shah reportedly assured a top post to Eatala and told the state BJP leaders that his role is crucial for party’s rise in Telangana. However, reporters were astonished when Rajender drove in Congress MLA Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy’s car to meet Home Minister. Even, the Telangana BJP leaders are not aware of his meeting with Amit Shah. Sources said that he used his close friend Rajagopal’s car to avoid media attention.
