Kodali Nani challenges JV Ramudu's appointment as DGP

Hyderabad, Dec 23, 2014: YSR Congress Party MLA Kodali Nani has filed a petition in the High Court today challenging the appointment of J.V. Ramudu as DGP of Andhra Pradesh . "The appointment of J.V. Ramudu has violated all police service rules. The Government has appointed him as the DGP throwing the rules to the wind," he said in his petition and sought cancellation of his appointment. The petition will come up for hearing tomorrow. Reacting to the development, TDP leaders said it is very common for the opposition members to challenge such appointments.
