125-feet tall Ambedkar bronze statue will be installed by Dec-end: KTR

Ministers K. Taraka Rama Rao (KTR) and Koppula Eshwar on Wednesday inspected the site where 125-feet tall Dr. B.R. Ambedkar bronze statue is coming up at PV Marg in Hyderabad. KTR has informed Eshwar and officials to develop amenities for tourists in the surrounding area of the statue.
 
Talking to reporters, Rao has mentioned that 90 per cent works of 55-feet basement used for installing the statue is over. “Installation of the statue will be completed by the end of this December,” he stated. He said that Ambedkar statue will become a tourist spot not only for Telangana but for the entire country. 
 
The minister further said that development in Telangana under the leadership of Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao has become an inspiration to other states. “KCR waged a battle with the Centre demanding to procure the paddy from Telangana farmers by following the footsteps of Ambedkar,” he added. MLA Balka Suman and other TRS leaders were present.
