Advocate found dead in his house in Hyderabad
Hyderabad, May. 13: An advocate, who had challenged the election of YSRCP legislator from Nandikotkuru in the High Court, was found dead in his house at Srininagar Colony under mysterious circumstances.
The advocate, Ravikiran, a native of Nandikotkuru, has been mostly living in the city since one year after his marriage. He had unsuccessfully contested in the 2014 elections from Nandikotkuru as an Independent candidate. The YSRCP nominee Aizaiah was elected in the elections.
However Ravikiran challenged the election of the YSRCP candidate in the High Court on the ground that Aizaiah had made false representation that he was from the SC community and filed his nomination from the reserved constituency. The case is still pending in the court.
The relatives of the advocate were stated to have been informed about his death last night. His body was stated to have been found in a pool of blood. While the relative claimed that Ravikiran would not have committed suicide as he did not have any problems or issues. As a matter of fact the advocate was stated to have even filed complaints with the police at Nandikotkuru as well as in Hyderabad fearing threat to his life. The police have registered a case of suspicious death and investigating.
