Sachin arrives in Krishnapatnam, to tour adopted village tomorrow
Nellore, Nov 15: Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar arrived at Krishnapatnam in Nellore district on Saturday evening. He then went on a tour of the port and the Security Acadamy. He later took part in couple of school events before retiring to the guest house in the port area.
Sachin is expected to stay there for the night. He then is expected to leave early Sunday for Puttamrajuvari Kandriga village, which he adopted under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Sansad Adarsh Gram Yojana scheme.
Meanwhile, arrangement are going for the cricket legend's visit to the district. His fans are eagerly waiting to see their cricket god. Security has been beefed up in the village. District officials are supervising the arrangements in the village.
Sachin's personal assistants Manoj Warrier and Narayanan have been in the village to oversee the arrangements. Along with them, district Joint Collector Rekha Rani, MLA Sunil Kumar are also supervising the arrangements.
Sachin is likely to spend Rs.4.5 crore from his Rajya Sabha member grant for taking up various developmental programmes in Puttamrajuvari Kandriga.
