TRS committed to make women financially sound
Hyderabad, March.16: Minister for Panchayatraj and Rural Development, Jupalli Krishna Rao declared that the TRS Government was committed for the welfare and empowerment of women in the state.
Starting this in the State Assembly on Thursday the Minister said the state government was working towards ensuring women become financially sound and required steps are being taken in this direction. There are four lakh women societies in the state and the government was ensuring that there is financial dearth for them. When compared since 2012-13, the financial status of women now has gone up by three times, he added.
