TDP MLA slams TS govt on household survey
Hyderabad, Nov 11: During heated discussions in the assembly on Monday, Telugu Desam Party MLA Revanth Reddy alleged that the household survey was done by house arresting all the people of Telangana. Reddy said that the entire state was imprisoned for 12 hours for the sake of the survey. He said buses were halted on that day while the bars were opened. The TDP MLA said the Telangana government brought people from long distances to their home towns just for the sake of the survey. He, however, regretted that immigrants were unable to participate in the survey. Revanth Reddy said he was at home during the survey and that no one came to take his details. He, therefore, demanded special registration counter in villages for the household survey.
