Give up moves for SC categorization, Mala Mahanadu warns all parties
Hyderabad, Feb.5: Indian National Central Executive Committee of Mala Mahanadu has strongly opposed the moves for classification of SC reservations by all political parties and their decision to go to Delhi under the leadership of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.
Speaking to mediapersons here on Sunday, Mala Mahanadu national secretary Vadala Baskar, Vadlamuri Krishna Swaroop, Raju, Suresh and others demanded that the State and Central Government shun the moves for categorization of Scheduled Castes. “The Telangana State Chief Minister must withdraw his decision to go to Delhi with all political parties on the issue”
They also reminded about the Supreme Court had rejected the petition for categorization of Scheduled Castes under Article 341 on December 22, 2002, during Chandrababu Naidu regime. Now, again all political parties --- TRS, TDP, Congress, BJP, MIM, CPI and CPM --- are supporting SCs Categorization, the Mala Maha Nadu leaders said and demanded that they withdraw their futile efforts, otherwise, the Malas will oppose these parties in 2019 elections.
The Mala Maha Nadu leaders also alleged that the TRS government has diverted the SC, ST sub-plan funds of Rs 17,000 crore to other schemes in the State. They also criticized Chief Minister KCR for failing to anoint a Dalit as CM and also failed to distribute three acres to SCs and STs.
The Mala Maha Nadu leaders also warned that they would revive their agitation against the State and Central governments from February end of end of March. They also said they would stage a dharna at CM’s office on February 11 followed by Chalo Delhi.
