Sangareddy school gets e-learning centre
Sangareddy,February 4: GITAM University and Engineers Without Borders (EWB), Hyderabad chapter, established an e-learning centre at Zilla Parishad High School at Indrakaran village in Sangareddy on Friday.
After inaugurating the e-learning centre, Pro Vice-Chancellor of GITAM, Prof N Siva Prasad said that they would train students of government schools in MS-Office and other basics. Prof Prasad said that they would also present certificates to candidates who complete the training courses successfully.
Stating that a number of schools in Sangareddy district lacked basic facilities like electricity supply, he assured the people that they would present solar power systems to all such schools in the coming days as part of Corporate Social Responsibility. Prof Prasad said they had funded the construction of 3,000 toilets across erstwhile Medak district.
