Naidu tells investors that clearances are not needed to invest in AP

New Delhi, Nov 6: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu caught the attention of investors when he said that companies wanting to invest in the state need not approach any person for any clearances. Chandrababu Naidu was showcasing resources and facilities availabe in the state to investors during an interaction at the World Economic Summit in New Delhi Thursday. Addressing the summit, Naidu clarified that once the companies express their intention to invest in Andhra Pradesh, it would be put up online and clearances would be given. He also informed of the setting up of a State Investment Promotion Board and arranging of escort officers to assist the investors. In an unrelated development, CPM leader Raghavulu Thursday flayed at Chandrababu for eyeing 30,000 acres of land for the development of the state capital. Speaking to media persons Thursday, he alleged that Naidu has been encouraging only the national and international level corporate sectors. He also said Naidu was ignoring the concerns of the people. He asked Chandrababu to reveal his real intentions behind his idea of pooling 30,000 acres of land.
