Baahubali 2's pre-release business to touch Rs 500 crores?
S S Rajamouli "Baahubali: The Conclusion" is slated for release on April 28th. After the super success of the first part, everyone is eagerly waiting for the second part of the film. Now, the film's worldwide pre-release business is creating All-Time Record in India.
As per the reports, it is known that Baahubali did a pre-release business of Rs 130 crores in Ap/Ts. In South excluding Ap/Ts, it is reported to fetch Rs 85 to 95 crores from the Theatrical rights. The Rest of the areas in North and Hindi version rights will be around Rs 75 to 80 crores.
The USA rights will fetch Rs 35 to 40 crores and Rest of the world including all versions rights were estimated to be between Rs 15 to 20 crores. Overall, Trade experts predict that the film's worldwide Theatrical rights including all versions will be around Rs 350 crores.
On the other hand, the satellite, music and other rights are estimated to fetch around Rs 100 to 110 crores. Finally, if we consider the international release, animated web series, book and others then the movie was estimated to touch Rs 500 crores business worldwide which is All Time Highest amount for an Indian movie.
Until now, no other movie in India did even Rs 300 crores pre-release business and hence Baahubali 2 is going to create a sensation with the worldwide pre-release business of around Rs 500 crores.
