Temporary nurses intensify stir at Gandhi Hospital
Hyderabad, Jan.28 : Outsourcing nurses, who were on agitation path for the last four days in Gandhi Hospital intensified their agitation on Saturday demanding that the State government regularize their services and resolve their problems.
The nurses climbed to 10th floor of the Gandhi hospital building and lodged their protest from there. The nurses made it clear that they would continue their agitation till their problems were solved. In the process, tension prevailed for some time as the nurses made it clear that they would not come down till the hospital management responded to their agitation. They also alleged that the Health Minister has failed to fulfill his assurance given to them a year ago. They said they were leading miserable lives with paltry salaries. Some 220 nurses participated in the agitation today.
