Janatha Garage record - Most Watched Telugu Movie in 2016
Young Tiger Jr.NTR's 'Janatha Garage' remained as the highest collected movie in 2016 by minting close to Rs 82 crores. The film now also remained as the super hit on TV. As per the BARC reports, Janatha Garage is the most watched Telugu movie in 2016 with 13,924 impressions. MAA TV grabbed the satellite rights and remained as profitable one for them.
On the other hand, Vijay Antony's Pichaikiran is the Most watched Tamil movie in 2016 with 18.353 impressions where Sun TV bagged the film's rights. Pichaikiran released as Bichagadu and created sensation at Tollywood box office last year.
However, 2016 ended on a happy note for Jr.NTR with Janatha Garage which remained as Highest grossing Telugu movie and Most watched Telugu movie on Television. Meanwhile, Jr.NTR's project will go on floors after the Sankranthi and the film release will be in second half of 2017.
