Chandrababu Envisions To Set Up “People Hub”

Vijayawada: The Andhra Pradesh State Government has decided to establish “People Hub” a secure, reliable and scalable IT infrastructure, processes and platform to provide a wide range of People Data and Application services, and to enable the departments and agencies of the State government to serve residents efficiently, effectively and equitably. All Projects of e-Pragati use People Hub.

While specifying a clear path and driving the administrative machinery to a new era of technology adoption aiming at empowering the common man and enhancing the transparency in the governance on the eve of 20th edition of the National Conference for e-Governance 2016-17 to be held at Visakhapatnam  on January 9 and 10, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, in a teleconference with the officials in the IT Department has stated that  “AP State Govt. has been in the forefront in adopting Latest technologies in improving the Governance and the delivering better services to the Public.

AP has brought the services of the different Govt. Departments/Utilities and Agencies onto the finger tips of the Common man using a mobile phone. Our Intellect, Innovative Mind, Entrepreneur Skills should be useful to the State and the Country in eradicating the Poverty and enhancing the Living standards of the People and improvement in Human Development Index (HDI). AP should be the launch pad to the new innovations in IT and fruits of IT have to empower the common man in the State.
