Balakrishna Celebrates New Year With Staff@ BIACH&R

Hyderabad: Nandamuri Balakrishna has joined a special New Year celebrations at Basavatarakam Indo-American Cancer Hospital today. On the occasion, Balakrishna cut a special cake bought by staff and management of BIACH&R amidst those fighting with cancer to mark the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, Balakrishna urged the staff members, doctors and management to work together in order to achieve vision and mission envisaged by late father Nandamuri Tarakarama Rao, whose inspiration has created such a world-class facility to provide affordable cancer care to the poor. “Whether it is cine field or political arena, the best results can be achieved only through team work, Balakrishna opined and hoped that one day BIACH&RI will become a facility that can find a solution and cure any type of cancer.

Extending New Year wishes to all, Balakrishna expressed happiness that this year’s Ugadi will also be celebrated with Sankranthi as his latest movie “Gautamiputra Shathakarni” is getting released. “It is a great pleasure to work as Chairman of the Hospital despite all the work pressures he had and prayed God for giving him an opportunity to be born as a son of Late NTR and Nandamuri Basavatarakam.

Reviewing the work at Hospital last year, Balakrishna thanked CM KCR for waiving penalty and regularizing the hospital buildings. He also hoped in the upcoming year the hospital will scale new heights.
