YS Jagan Rythu Bharosa Yatra in Kurnool from Jan 4

Hyderabad: Leader of Opposition YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will undertake Rythu Bharosa Yatra in Kurnool district from January 4 to console the family members of the farmers who committed suicide due to indebtedness and to highlight the anti-people policies of the Chandrababu Naidu government.

Speaking to reporters here on Monday, party Farmers’ Cell president MVS Nagi Reddy said that the Party has always been pro-farmer and has been raising its voice in the Assembly and outside and the State Government has been pursuing with is anti-farmer policies.

The Yatra would go on in the district for five to six days during which he would lend a patient hearing to the grievances of the farmers besides consoling the bereaved family members of those farmers who committed suicides.

The government policies have been of no use to the farmers during its three-year tenure starting from going back on the waiver of farm loans, non-release of input subsidy besides taking effective steps to mitigate the severe drought conditions in parts of the state.
