Pawan Kalyan To Visit Srikakulam Tomorrow
Hyderabad: Janasena Supremo Pawan Kalyan is set to visit Uddana area of Srikakulam district tomorrow.
In this tour, he will meet the people who have been suffering from kidney problems due to polluted drinking water.
Srikakulam is one of the three regions in the world with the highest concentration of chronic kidney diseases (CKD) as per World Health Organisation. In the last 20 years, 20,000 people have died.
Janasena cadre making necessary arrangements for his tour. At first, he will console the kidney patients at Manikanta Theatre in Ichchapuram. After that, it is said that he will perform a road show.
Today, Pawan Kalyan Tweeted " Uddana..area in Srikakulam district; widely known as 'Konaseema' of North coastal. But, beneath this scenic beauty..for reasons unknown.. 20,000 plus right from newborns to old age had died of chronic kidney disease in the last two decades.
And currently, lakhs are affected with this chronic kidney disease known as 'Uddanam Nephropathy'. Successive Govts and honourable legislative members of the last two decades could not address this issue effectively.
And, When this issue was brought to Janasena's notice; our party's media team went and documented their suffering, and to address the issue I am going to Uddanam tomorrow to interact with those helpless sufferers."
