Stalin Slams Vice Chancellors Meet With Sasikala

Chennai: Recently, VCs of 10 State Universities met 'Chinnamma' Sasikala at Poes Garden to offer their condolences over the demise of 'Amma' Jayalalithaa. “Dr Namadhu MGR”, mouthpiece of AIADMK published a picture of the meeting.

Leader of Opposition and DMK Treasurer termed it as 'unconstitutional' and wrote a letter to Governor Vidyasagar Rao demanding the sacking of those 10 VCs.

Education activist and 'Change India' director A Narayanam also criticised the meet as 'Shameful and Shocking act'. He cited this as example for how VC posts given away on the basis of money and political loyalty.

Stalin said “Such attitude on part of VCs prove that their loyalty is neither for the state universities nor for the academic excellence.”
