Death Sentence To Dilsukhnagar Twin Blasts Convicted

Hyderabad: Justice delayed but NOT denied. After 3.5 years of Dilsukhnagar Twin Blasts, today NIA (National Investigation Agency) Special Court has pronounced death sentence to the 5 IM men who convicted in the Dilsukhnagar Twin Blasts case.

On February 21, 2013 two Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) were denoted near the busy Dilsukhnagar bus stop killing 18 people and injuring 138.

Mohammed Riyaz alias Riyaz Bhatkal , Asadullah Akthar alias Haddi, Zia Ur Rahman alias Waqas , Mohammed Tahseen Akthar alias Hassan, Ahmed Siddibappa Zarrar alias Yasin Bhatkal and Ajaz Shaikh were held guilty by NIA Special Court.

In this case 157 witnesses statements were recorded and 201 materials related to the case were seized.
