'Chinnamma' Sasikala Fit To Lead AIADMK : Vijayashanti

Chennai: Veteran Indian film actress, producer and politician Vijayashanti opined that Sasikala Natarajan posses the calibre and leadership qualities to lead AIADMK.

Today Vijayashanti went to Chennai to pay homage to late CM Jayalalithaa at the MGR Memorial on Marina Beach. She remembered her close association with Jayalalithaa and hailed her administrative decisions as well as pro poor policies.

Vijayashanti claimed that she stood by Jayalalithaa during unfavourable conditions and bad days, which resulted bomb attacks on her home by DMK cadre.

She also praised Jayalalithaa's close aide Sasikalaa Natarajan. She opined that Sasikala should lead the party in order to make proper implementation of Jayalalithaa's welfare schemes.
