High Power Committee Constituted On 'Amaravathi Metro Rail'

Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh government constituted a high powered committee along with special invitees for overseeing and monitoring the progress of Vijayawada Metro Rail project. Today Municipal Administration and Urban Development department has released GO 326 related to the above committee. Chief Secretary will chair the committee. The High Powered Committee as institutional mechanism during the implementation of the project shall resolve several problems with regard to acquisition of land, diversion of utilities, shifting of structures falling on the project alignment, rehabilitation of project affected persons etc.
