How To Go Cashless : RBI, Committee Mulling On The Road-map

Mumbai: With the agenda of preparing road-map on pushing India towards the digital transactions, Committee of CMs, technocrats, bankers led by AP CM Chandra Babu Naidu has met RBI governor Urjit Patel and other deputy governors. This high profile meeting started at 10.30am today at RBI headquarters. Apart from AP CM, Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnabis, former chairman of UIDAI Nandan Nilekani, SBI chairman Arundhati Bhattacharya and other bank heads were also present. Other participants were linked through video conference. It is heard that committee will discuss all the issues in detailed and chalk out a road-map for the digitisation of Indian economy.
