Don't 'Repay' Black Money Deposited In Jan Dhan Accounts : PM Modi
Moradabad: While addressing the Parivartan Rally in Moradabad district of Uttar Pradesh district, Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave a call to people not to repay the black money deposited in their Jan Dhan Accounts by the Black Money holders. Public acknowledged his proposal with cheer and joy. It is heard that PMJDY (Prime Minister Jan Dhan Yojana) accounts have been using to paint black money white. As on November 2nd, there were around 25.45 crore bank accounts opened under PMJDY scheme with a balance of Rs.45,302.48 cr. Of these around 23.37% are of zero-balance accounts. But by November 16, 2016 total deposits in PM Jan Dhan accounts have raised to Rs 64,252.15 crore. Uttar Pradesh leading the tally with Rs 10,670 cr deposits followed by West Bengal and Rajasthan. By November 23 PMJDY accounts crossed the Rs.70,000 cr mark and reached at Rs.72,834.72 cr. Keeping in view of the the paradigms RBI issued a notification saying that Jan Dhan account holders can withdraw only up to Rs. 10,000 a month.
