Mudragada's Padayatra From Jan 25,2017

Kakinada: AP Kapu community patriarch Mudragada Padmanabham today announced a four phase action plan to turn up the heat on the AP government for the inclusion of 'Kapus' among the Backward Classes. All the important Kapu leaders from 13 districts met today at Kakinada to chalk out future course of action. They wish to exert all the possible pressure on the TDP Govt to implement their 2014 general elections poll promise of restoring BC status to Kapus which had existed till 1960. The proposed 4 point action includes.. On 18th December all Kapus will stage protest by wearing black ribbons and making sound with 'Kanchem' and 'Garita'. On 30th December, giving petition to all the elected representatives. On 9th January, they will organise a candle light march. On 25th January, Satyagraha Padayatra will commence from Ravulapalem to Antharvedi. Last Month Mudragada had planned a Satyagraha Padayatra along with Kapu JAC leaders in East Godavari Dist. But keeping in view of law and order problem police stopped all of them and set for the 48 hours house arrest. AP DGP informed that Mudragada did not take any permission regarding the Padayatra and announced that they will go by High Court guidelines while taking necessary stringent action. But the adamant Mudragada told that he wont take police permission for his Satyagraha Padayatra.
