New York: Mahatma Gandhi's picture with his Charka stood in the foreground of the 100 most influential photos of all time. Time Magazine compiling the 'Photos that changed the world'. This compilation include top 100 history altering and most iconic photos dating from 1820s to 2015. Gandhi's Charka Photo had taken by Margaret Bourke-White in 1946. The photo shows Gandhi sitting on a mattress on the floor, head bent down as he is reading the news paper while his spinning wheel in the foreground. Time Magazine said "It has become an indelible image, the civil-disobedience crusader with his most influential symbol, helped solidify the perception of Mahatma Gandhi outside the Indian subcontinent as a virtuous man of peace"
