Though shocked at demonetization, KCR trying to keep PM happy: Chada
Warangal, Nov.27: Stating that though Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao was shocked with the demonetization of big currency notes by Prime Minister Narendra Modi suddenly, CPI State secretary Chada Venkat Reddy has alleged that the former was trying to rub shoulders with the latter.
Speaking to the media here on Sunday, Chada alleged that the Prime Minister was indulging in propaganda that the people in the country were happy with the demonetization of big notes whereas the people were cursing their fate and facing hardships.
The governance in Telangana was miss grooved, he alleged and said the State government was not in a position to give salaries to the employees and the situation turned as it was not in a position to implement the welfare schemes. He also demanded that the Central government to appoint a high-level committee to inquire about the assets of the corporate forces.
“The RBI was showing partiality towards Telangana State with regard to giving its due share of currency and it was giving huge amounts to the corporate banks.” He also alleged that KCR has no courage to ask the Centre to give the new currency notes whereas the Centre delivered new currency notes worth Rs 4,000 crore to Andhra Pradesh State.
