AP CM directs officials to Build 1.20 lakh Houses in Municipalities

Hyderabad, Nov.23: AP chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu directed the officials to initiate the construction of 1.20 lakh houses in all the municipalities by the end of December. In a review meeting held on MA & UD, the Chief Minister instructed the officials to take up construction activities in Kakinada, Nellore, Tadipathri and Chilakaluripeta municipalities soon. Four models of houses to be constructed under the urban housing scheme were demonstrated to the Chief Minister. He also asked the municipal department and R& B department to coordinate in taking up repairs and laying of new roads in 110 municipalities. He called for the monthly report on the status of repairs, beautification of roads in the municipalities.
