BJP issues whip to its RS MPs

In order to meet the united opposition challenges and strategies, BJP issued a whip to all its Rajya Sabha members, telling them to be present in the Parliament for three days from Monday. We all know that ruling NDA (National Democratic Alliance) lacks majority in upper house. United opposition parties staged ruckus in both houses of parliament over currency demonetisation and its follow up events. BJP high command also requested its MPs to educate, publicise all the benefits of the currency demonetisation. Union Minister Venkaiah Naidu criticised opposition stand on the very crucial issue and said "The government is ready for a discussion. We don't know what has happened with the Congress. Suddenly, they took a U-turn," Where as opposition parties demanding PM Modi's presence in the house during discussion on the currency ban issue.
