Bringing a sigh of relief to Tamilnadu people, after more than 7 weeks in hospital CM Jayalalithaa released a letter on Sunday expressing her gratitude over people's affection. "Due to the continuous prayers by people in Tamil Nadu, in other states and across the world, I have taken rebirth and I am happy to share this information with you," these are the opening words of the 2 page letter, which was released by AIDMK headquarters. Jayalalithaa requested her cadre to work more hard for the AIDMK's victory in all 3 assembly constituencies Aravakurichi, Thanjavur and Tiruparankundram to which elections will be held soon. "I express my anguish over the suicides committed by some cadres after my hospitalization. I need the cadres for the party's future and growth. When I have the love and affection of people, I am happy and will be fully well and begin work soon," she said.
On September 22 Jayalalitha was admitted to Apollo Hospital, Chennai with complaints of "dehydration and fever". Doctors from AIIMS, UK with a team of experts from Apollo treated her.
