Career best opening weekend for Karthi

Tamil actor Karthi's Kaashmora which released last Friday opened up with a positive response from the audience. The film registered superb collections in its first weekend at AP/TS box office. It minted Nizam - 1.36crores, Ceeded - 90 lakhs, Vizag - 62 lakhs, East Godavari - 44 lakhs, West Godavari - 26 lakhs, Krishna - 36 lakhs, Guntur - 73 lakhs, Nellore - 23 lakhs which makes it to collect 4.90 crores share in AP/TS in its first 3 days run at box office. This is the career best opening weekend for Karthi's film as a solo hero. Luckily, no competition from other releases is an advantage for the movie to rake good collections in the opening weekend. As Theatrical rights sold for 9 crores, the film recovered more than half of the investment in the first weekend itself. However, we need to wait and see how the movie is going to perform at the box office from today onwards.
