Congress Leader Ramachandraiah blasts Venkaiah for Praising Chandrababu

Vijayawada, Oct.29: Congress senior leader C Ramachandraiah today found fault with Union Minister M Venkaiah Naidu for praising the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, and questioned him as to what aspect of the Chief Minister made him heap praises on the latter. It may be mentioned that the Union Minister on Friday showered praises on Chandrababu Naidu, at the foundation stone laying ceremony at Amaravathi for the permanent capital works. Reacting to it, Ramachandraiah wondered why Venkaiah Naidu had praised the Chief Minister, and what aspect of Chandrababu made him applaud the latter. Is it the anti-farmer policies of the Chief Minister, or is it for being caught in ‘vote for note’ case, or encouraging defections from other parties, or for misuse of public funds, Ramachandraiah asked. He further asked whether Venkaiah Naidu is all-praise for Chandrababu for looting the State. The Congress leader alleged that the foundation stone laying function was organized only to felicitate and hail the Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley. He also alleged that while the Polavaram project is in Centre’s jurisdiction, the Chief Minister took upon it’s responsibility only for commissions and kickbacks.
